Hey there!
Ahhh!! I'm so excited that this exchange has rolled around again! Pretty much anything for any one of these requests is going to thrill me. I love all of these canons and their characters (seriously, any of them; however major or minor) so, so much. The thought of getting to enjoy what you come up with is already making me giddy!
A couple of notes: 1) I'm caught up on everything that's recently/currently airing, so no need to worry about spoilers. 2) For the most part, I like the canon ships from these shows, but I'm not at all opposed to cross-canon or non-canon couples, either. Any gen/platonic grouping is absolutely fair game. 3) For requests with three fandoms, I'd be thrilled with a three-way mashup, though I haven't come up with specific prompts to help you along on that front. 4) If you recognize any of the other shows I’ve requested but we didn’t match on, and want to include a little easter egg/stealth crossover in your assignment, that would be an awesome bonus (but not remotely expected)!
Basically, I would love your take—however direct, tangential, literal, figurative, etc., etc.—on any of these prompts. They are, however, just meant to be jumping off points, so if they inspire something that takes off in a different direction, go with your muse! Feel free to use an art prompt for a fic (or vice versa) or mix and match between fandoms.
Thanks in advance and can't wait to see what you make!

genres and styles
- adventure (both big and small), angst (preferably with a bittersweet or happy ending), canon-typical plots, character studies, fantasy and sci-fi, fluff, humor/comedy, hurt/comfort, mysteries and casefic, romance, slice of life
- AUs
- especially canon-divergences, canon+ (basically, the canon setting + some fantastical/magical element, ie: body swaps, unexpected telepathic connections, time loops, etc.), or fusions and genre shifts (ie: daemon AUs, Pacific Rim, Hogwarts, in space!, epic fantasy, etc.)
- exceptions I’m not particularly into: A/B/O, de-aging, soulmate/soulmark AUs, or making the setting more ordinary/mundane than canon
- character- and relationship-driven plots
- epistolary elements
- both letters and texts/emails/digital communication as well as in-universe texts/published materials
- missing scenes
- parallels and canon callbacks
- x + 1 times
- competence/characters in their element
- alternatively, I do love a good fish out of water scenario
- food, baking and/or cooking; please make me hungry!
- worldbuilding
- Even for canons that ostensibly take place in the real world, I love getting a taste of all the little details that add color and texture to these character’s lives.
- Stuff like: politics/local government, what’s on their TBR list, what’s in their fridge/closet/bag/car, what kind of celebrity gossip exists in their world
- Even for canons that ostensibly take place in the real world, I love getting a taste of all the little details that add color and texture to these character’s lives.
- lots of descriptions and detail: of the setting or circumstances, the characters' emotions/sensations, etc.
- loyalty and ride or die friendships
- complex friendship dynamics
- I prefer when conflicts are resolved at least semi-happily, but angst on the way is excellent!
- found families and/or family feels and/or complex family situations
- team bonding/group dynamics
- eg: road trips, pranks, inside jokes, friendship building, nights out, games/game nights, betting pools, roughhousing/physical affection, celebrations/parties, etc.
- mutual admiration societies/positive partnerships
- I love snark and teasing and even outright antagonism, too, they just have to end up liking each other—even grudgingly
- anything from above
- I really love romances that are built on friendships/trust/loyalty or at the very least some kind of shared history
- pre-relationship and/or getting together plots
- slow burns, UST, mutual pining, denial, flirting, lingering touches, veiled confessions
- [enemies/rivals to] friends to lovers
- I’m all about snarky antagonism/belligerence/teasing as flirting
- FWBs catching feelings
- breaking the seal
- i.e. “We just kissed/slept together/did something unmistakably romantic, but we’re definitely not gonna do it again,” and then they absolutely do it again.
- basically, any kind of romcom trope that you can imagine
- enforced proximity tropes
- bed sharing, handcuffed together, locked in a closet, deserted together, curses/spells tethering them, sharing body heat, etc.
- secret and/or "forbidden" relationships
- HEAs or HFNs
- For book/nonvisual canons, I tend not to have strong opinions on the characters' appearances beyond what's established in the text. Feel free to draw them however you like!
- Meta art, if that makes sense?
- eg: The design of a character's work ID or baseball/trading card, snapshots they might've taken, or a peek inside someone's bedroom/bag/social media accounts/whatever.
- I'm always down for portraits, especially with fun, graphic backgrounds
- costume porn, canon-inspired or not
- floral prints/flowers are always a plus, as well as other natural elements
- domestic scenes or characters at rest/relaxing
- any of my narrative likes are also fair game for art
- Go as wild stylistically as you like!
- Color-wise, I like lots of different things!
- pastels, rich tones, grayscale, minimal palettes, sepia, monochromatic are all great (probably not all together, but I’m not an artist, so it’s not like my opinion on this, or any, front is particularly well informed).
No, Thanks!
- graphic violence or gore
- canon-typical violence, as well as injuries, physical fights, etc. that have happened in canon are fine to include
- humiliation
- embarrassment is fine to include, but I'd prefer no lingering/extended focus on it
- infidelity
- non-canonical character death
- pregnancy and/or parenting non-canonical kids
- babysitting, temporary accidental baby acquisition, or kids who exist in canon are fine
- rape or noncon

30 Rock / Parks and Recreation / Schitt's Creek
format: Crossover Art, Crossover Fic
It's been a year, and I have yet to come up with a good reason for grouping these three shows together (aside from the prospect that Leslie & Liz and Jenna & Moira present; which is not at all to say that you need to focus on those characters). But I'm still very intrigued by all the possibilities. Sure, there may not be much to tie them together thematically—aside from a flair for absurdism—or really anything in the worldbuilding that says this is a crossover that makes any sense, but what is "sense" in a world that could conceivably include the Reasonablists, Leap Day William, and Larry Air? For this one, I’m not super tied to Schitt’s Creek being in Canada, so wherever you feel like putting it is fine with me.
prompts
30 Rock + Parks and Recreation
- In the run-up to her election, the president of NBC meets with Presidential candidate Leslie Knope about the possibility of adapting her recent memoir (possibly with influences from Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America?) into a TV series.
- Gryzzl decides that the way forward is to go old media and tries to buy Kabletown/NBC. Kenneth (along with Jack as CEO of GE and maybe a few other familiar faces) go to Pawnee to negotiate (or derail) the deal.
- Pawnee wins the chance to host a live broadcast of TGS, the logistics of which, of course, end up almost entirely in Leslie and Liz’s hands.
- Consider: the citizens of Pawnee as extras in the show, Liz and Leslie’s oppositional management methods, Ron mystifying Jack, Andy being starstruck by Tracy as April messes with Jenna’s head, Ben trying to wrangle the TGS writers as Pete uses the time away from his family to party with Tom.
- I'd love to see Jenna testing out her Leslie Knope impression for a TGS reunion or any of the Parks crew reacting to it on TV/youtube/whatever.
- Kenneth or maybe Tracy or Dennis decked out in Li'l Sebastian gear. Or maybe April ironically got into TGS like ten years after it goes off air and hunted down merch online.
- Honestly, just seeing Leslie and Liz complaining about life and eating their feelings together, waffles and whipped cream for one and Cheesy Blasters and Sabor de Soledad for the other, would be a dream!
30 Rock + Schitt's Creek
- Moira Rose and Jenna Maroney probably had the same acting coach at some point, right? Or Moira did a guest instructor stint at the Royal Tampa Academy of Dramatic Tricks, perhaps. Or they were always auditioning for the same parts or understudying for each other in off-off Broadway productions, and man, did they hate each other through all of it.
- Alternatively, it turns out the small town Moira’s from is actually Stone Mountain, and so she tries to leverage her nephew Kenneth’s promotion into some kind of guest spot on an NBC show.
- I could absolutely see Alexis and Cerie running in the same circles for a while, and Alexis potentially leveraging that connection into a (very short) stint as a TGS backup dancer.
- The TGS writers manage to get a deeply unflattering sketch about some town that’s literally called Schitt’s Creek past NBC’s Standards department, prompting the mayor of said town to demand a public apology in increasingly bizarre ways. Everything snowballs, earning Kabletown/NBC awful press along the way, until the show has to send an apology delegation. Art Prompts
- I feel like Johnny and Jack would've been buddy-buddy back in the day, so a snapshot of them hobnobbing it up could be fun.
- Liz somehow got roped into picking up Jenna's "skincare" from some tiny place called Rose Apothecary and naturally gets in an argument with the guy who works there. Or she and Pete are back on a talent hunt staying in some roadside motel, and she is not impressed with the customer service.
- I'm not sure who I'd most like to see with Twyla. Someone nice, for sure. Kenneth? Dot Com? Cerie? Lutz, Twofer, or Frank somehow keeping their nonsense at bay to try and impress her? Have they landed at Twyla's/Cafe Tropical on a pit stop? Is she living it up on a visit to Alexis in New York?
Parks and Recreation + Schitt's Creek
- Intergovernmental relations, please! Pawnee gets a new sister city, though no one can really figure out how or why. Maybe there’s some kind of City Council exchange program? Mayoral exchange program?
- Somehow, the governments and civil servants of these towns collide in what is intended to be a cooperative fashion. Though, when asked, that’s really not the word most participants would use to describe the experience.
- A new Rosebud Motel opens in Pawnee, which, for whatever reason, necessitates a convergence of the Board (and possibly the Board’s family and friends) on south-central Indiana.
- Pawnee seems like the type of town to have a very dedicated Sunrise Bay fanclub—I could see Jerry and Gail making sure to watch every day, or Joan Calamezzo bitterly opining her failed audition—and it turns out they’re willing to pay for an appearance from the television’s Moira Rose. Art Prompts
- I'd love to see Stevie and April hanging out—potentially with Alexis or Leslie crashing to their moody friends' unending mortification.
- Donna and Tom going wild treating themselves at Rose Apothecary or introducing David and/or Patrick to the concept.
- Moira—any of the Rose family TBH—reacting to basically any person, place, or thing in Pawnee would be a sight to behold. Some possibilities: gangs of raccoons, the Meat Tornado, Harvest Fest, the murals in City Hall.
Emma / Persuasion / Pride and Prejudice
format: Crossover Art, Crossover Fic
Ah, Jane. The wit! The romance! The cutting observations couched in the genteel trappings of polite society! What an absolute legend. These are my three favorites of her novels, but I'd be more than happy to see any other heroes/heroines (or less worthy individuals), too. There are just so many possibilities when it comes to these characters crossing paths and possibly foiling, or maybe even improving, each other’s respective stories. I’m not super fussed about the timelines/where each of the novels lines up chronologically with the others; the mix-and-match of personalities is what I'm really after. On that note, while I love the restraint inherent to a Regency setting, I'm totally open to AUs of pretty much any stripe, too. Also happy to see canon or crossover pairings. For art, totally happy if you use the cast from an adaptation (I'm absolutely not picky about which one) or come up with original appearances.
prompts
Emma + Persuasion
- What would Emma Woodhouse do if faced with the conundrum Captain Wentworth and Anne Elliot? Would she recognize the potential there or agree that one of the Musgrove girls is a better fit? Would Knightley, naturally, take up the opposite position?
- I'd also love a take from Anne or Frederick's POV—so much steadier and more mature and circumspect than Miss Woodhouse—on Emma's meddling in their lives.
- I'd love to see an AU where Mr. Woodhouse was more inclined to remarry, and somehow met Lady Russell. Emma and Anne wouldn't have necessarily grown up together, but I'd love to see how things would have changed if they'd known each other as kids/young ladies.
- It'd be a fun reversal to see Anne deciding to interfere in Emma's or Jane Fairfax's or Harriet's affairs. I feel like she'd be much subtler about her nosiness, but after her own heartbreak, maybe she doesn't want to sit back and watch others manufacture their own. Art Prompts
- Emma using Anne—long-suffering? embarrassed? resigned?—as a model for her latest artistic endeavor.
- I feel like Mr. Knightley and Anne would make for very good friends—possibly only friends, to Lady Russell's eternal disappointment—and would love to see what that looks like to you. Strolls through the village or dancing together or something else entirely.
- I'm always here for wedding art (the flowers! the clothes! the ecclesiastical architecture!), whether it's for a canon couple with some crossover guests or a completely crossover ship.
Emma + Pride and Prejudice
- I'm not sure what would ever occasion Mr. Elton and Mr. Collins to meet, perhaps with wives in tow, but I do know that 1) all my sympathy would go to Charlotte in that situation and 2) like a trainwreck, I wouldn't be able to look away.
- I feel like Elizabeth Bennet and Emma Woodhouse might politely loathe (that's what they're calling it, at least) each other if they ever met as adults. Or, not loathe, but definitely trade some less-than-veiled barbs with one another. Perhaps to Elizabeth's delight and Emma's annoyance.
- I could also 100% see them banding together to take someone ridiculous—along the lines of Lady Catherine or Mrs. Elton—down a peg or two. And then steadfastly refusing to admit they actually enjoy one another when peace in the neighborhood is restored.
- I'm trying to imagine what it would have been like if any of the Bennet girls or even Georgiana went to Mrs. Goddard's school, and how they would have reacted if they'd somehow captured the attention of the Miss Woodhouse. Art Prompts
- It'd be really cool to see a dance scene, either the ladies practicing together or a couple or two standing up at an actual ball.
- There are a ton of fun facial expressions/nuances in body language to play with, especially when it comes to Elizabeth and Emma interactions. Elizabeth teasing and Emma inwardly fuming. Emma desperately pretending she's above Elizabeth's snark. Elizabeth indulging Emma as she plots out her next machinations.
- If you'd like to go with the gentlemen, instead, Knightley and Darcy out for a ride or hunting would be super fun! I can't quite articulate it, but I feel like they're two sides of the same coin and could either be close, old friends or find one another completely distasteful.
Persuasion + Pride and Prejudice
- Perhaps Mr. Darcy is not wholly impressed by the introduction of a Captain Wentworth into the neighborhood. Partially because he is a bit of a snob, but also because he just can't approve of the apparent intimacy forming between Wentworth and Miss Elizabeth Bennet. (Or is she already Mrs. Darcy by then, and he's just jealous his wife is better at making friends?)
- What if the Elliots went broke earlier, so Anne hires herself out as a lady’s companion to an eminent lady and her daughter in Kent? Would Elizabeth's visit to the Collinses go any differently with Anne as Anne de Bourgh's companion?
- Anything that explores the differences between the Bennet and the Elliot sisters/family could be super interesting.
- I will absolutely reward bonus points if this leads to Anne becoming an honorary Bennet and/or just expanding her circle of supportive/loving friends.
- I'd love to see Lizzie and Anne playing a duet at the piano! Maybe just for fun or as entertainment at a party. Cute and friendly or a little flirty, perhaps?
- Throwing the younger ladies, Henrietta and Louisa vs. Kitty and Lydia (and Mary too), at one another feels like a recipe for the best kind of disaster. #regencygirlgang, anyone?
- I feel like a match of consequence between Sir Walter and Lady Catherine (or Mrs. Bennet for the real throwdown, lbr) would truly be a sight to behold.
Grace and Frankie / Pitch
format: Crossover Art, Crossover Fic
No, a sports drama about the first woman in MLB and a comedy about two elderly (though, wow, does it feel vaguely disrespectful to describe Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as elderly) women post-divorce do not a natural match make. However, I’ve been thinking about this potential crossover since 2016, which, you’d think, would have left me plenty of time to write it myself, and yet, here we are. When I initially had this galaxy brain moment, the crossover was purely based on the proximity factor: "Hey, two shows I like take place in the same city. Huh. That'd be a random crossover... Or would it be absolutely magical?" Clearly, I've latched onto the latter. I've had (too much) time to think it over, but I really think a collision of pretty much any character from each show would be an utter delight.
prompts
- What if Ginny (or Livan? Amelia? Some other Padre?) had been the one to buy Grace and Frankie’s beach house in season 5? Would they have been as understanding of two old ladies squatting there or would it have become even more of a circus?
- Frankie doing her damnedest to get a Menage a Moi into Ginny Baker’s hand after the freebie she sent to c/o the Padres was Returned to Sender. And by doing her damnedest, I definitely mean making as big a nuisance of herself as possible at Petco Park.
- Does she go to games with signs that no one would let on the Jumbotron (possibly not least because they feature a gigantic vibrator)? Does she hang out by the player’s lot, trying to pass off packages? Does she try to infiltrate the clubhouse? Get hired as an usher? How quickly do Grace and co. get pulled into her efforts and does she ever actually get to meet Ginny (or any Padre at all)?
- I mean, security’s gotta be a little leery of tackling an old lady to the ground, right?
- What are the odds that Blip and Ev’s boys go to school with Mallory’s kids? Or that the home Evelyn wants to buy is next door to Mallory’s (or Sol and Robert’s, even)?
- I’d love to see either a birthday party or school event with all kinds of extraneous people and how confusing each side is to the other.
- Robert’s theater troupe has been selected to sing the national anthem at a Padres game, which, of course, becomes a Thing™ for pretty much everyone.
- Ginny knows she should be paying attention to the game, but it’s hardly her fault if the Giants aren’t even putting up a fight and there’s some kind of intense family drama playing out in the stands. Art Prompts
- I do truly and whole-heartedly want to see the look of mortification on Ginny's face as this old lady, who's all hair and caftans, tries to shove a giant, purple vibrator in her hands.
- Which players' jerseys do the Bergstein-Hanson contingent wear to Padres games? Who goes all out on the fan gear and who just goes to games for the accepted day drinking?
- Cross canon date night! I feel like it'd be pretty cute if Al were Grace or Frankie's boyfriend of the week. Maybe Oscar or another Padre as Mallory's?
- Or just go for girl's night out (which could also be date night, honestly) with Ginny and Ev and Brianna and Mallory. (Possibly with Grace and/or Frankie crashing because why not?)
Happy Endings / Sirens
format: Crossover Art, Crossover Fic
And here's another proximity-based crossover, but I actually think the comedic sensibilities of the two shows mesh pretty well. They're both about groups of friends who aren't shy about roasting each other—and categorically refuse to pull their punches most of the time—but they'd also die or kill for one another, no questions asked. Plus, I mean, it’s a miracle that the Happy Endings crew doesn’t end up in the hospital more often than they do (or in the back of police cruisers, let's be real). And some of the best episodes of Sirens are when they get pulled into their patients’ weirdness—see: Lord Byron the python. Basically, I want to throw these characters together and see what happens.
prompts
- Part of why I like this matchup is because it's really fun to think about the ways characters would play off each other. Some possibilities include:
- Hank and Max being deeply unimpressed with one another, which only deepens when they find out they share a bunch of exes.
- On the other hand: Alex and Billy or Brian being absolutely delighted by each other.
- Teresa and Jane as ex-high school rivals?
- The Eminent EMTs discover Steak Me Home Tonight and follow it around town so they can have sandwiches whenever they want. On hearing this, Penny insists on “helping” Dave one day so she can flirt with the cute paramedics.
- Or: Penny meets a cute EMT (maybe from another company even?) and keeps staging accidents and calling 911 so she can see him again, but it is somehow always Ambulance 14 responding. I feel like Brian, at least, would find it romantic even if he can't approve of the frivolous waste of emergency resources.
- Teresa and Billy getting called to Max’s apartment because one of his former roommates turns out to be some kind of conman/his landlord is running some kind of shady operation out of the basement that Max may or may not be involved in/there's a random (or perhaps familiar?) guy living in his ceiling.
- A shopping trip to this cute place called Xela with Maeve and Teresa (with Voodoo and Stats along as buffers/for added chaos?) for once isn't derailed by sister squabbling. Well, not their own, at least.
- I could absolutely see Brad and Jane being weirdly competitive with Teresa and Johnny when it comes to #couplegoals, and no one else quite gets why they're actually friends with one another. Art Prompts
- I'd love to see the Eminent crew treating themselves to brunch at Emma's or an after-work drink at the bar. Have they taken up the gang's table and now have to defend it, or is it more a case of two rowdy ships passing in the night?
- I am always down for wacky, team sports hijinks, so it'd be really fun to see the Eminent EMTs participating in the kickball tournament, perhaps against the Xela team? Is this the year Dave's kick nailed Penny in the face? Have they brought in Billy as a ringer? Does Voodoo keep instigating onfield brawls for the hell of it?
- Ambulance 14 responding to some (hopefully minor) injury experienced by one of the gang. Are they at yet another wedding? Did Max or Alex do something absolutely ridiculous? Were Brad and Jane doing something steamy (and embarrassing?
Kim's Convenience / Letterkenny / Schitt's Creek
format: Crossover Art, Crossover Fic
Evidently, I have a weakness for sitcoms set and/or filmed in Ontario. It’s not a bad weakness to have. These shows have such different comedic sensibilities for all they're each about one Canadian province and the people who live there, but that's what I think would make for really fun interactions when those people cross paths. They might all be from Ontario (or just living there under duress in the case of the Roses early on), but I have a feeling that if any of them met up, they might as well be speaking a foreign language to one another. Just mutually unintelligible all the way down. On the other hand, though, I'd also love to see how any of these characters manage to find a bit of common ground. Whether it lasts, of course, is up to you!
prompts
Kim's Convenience + Letterkenny
- Wayne/Daryl/Squirrelly Dan/Katy/etc. come to town for a Jays game (and maybe a real venison dog) and need sustenance for the drive back, but no way are they paying the inflated prices around the stadium. Or maybe they need to rent a car when the truck breaks down—not that anyone can agree on why, exactly, the truck broke down, which of course, they make the problem of whichever Handy employee is stuck on counter duty.
- Janet meets Katy at a photoshoot, and somehow, it’s the beginning of an unexpected, but long-lasting, friendship. (Or more! I’d be totally down for Katy flirting with a very flustered or possibly oblivious Janet!)
- Some possible dynamics: Appa and Umma being a bit scandalized by this friend of Janet's, but warming up to her. Jung and or Kimchee striking out hard with Katy. Janet going off to Letterkenny for a break from her family and sticking her foot in her mouth with pretty much everyone she meets.
- The Kims toy with the possibility of selling fresh produce at the store one summer. In the end, it’s hard to say if the meeting with the farmers should go in the pro or con column. Art Prompts
- The Kims take a winter vacation! Jung and Kimchee all bundled up in snow gear for sledding, though they're probably getting lapped by degens and have to take a break out at the shack for some sushis and sashimis. Appa trying out ice fishing with some locals. Umma and Janet stopping by Modean's III for something to warm up.
- Jung is more thoughtful (or maybe just less singularly focused?) than Reilly and Jonesy, but I'd love to see them working out together. They'd for sure respect each other's gym game. When Reilly and Jonesy aren't skipping leg day, at least.
- Glenn may have given up his flock now, but seeing a congregation swap or some kind of visiting pastor situation where Pastor Nina or Umma and company have to be flummoxed by Glenn's... Glenness could be fun.
Kim's Convenience + Schitt's Creek
- The Kims decide to take a vacation while some renovations/repairs are done on the store and discover there was definitely a reason the Rosebud Motel was offering such good prices.
- If you’d like to go canon-divergent, maybe The Birds Have Eyes III somehow makes it into the TIFF, and David and Alexis refuse to go to the screening without snacks and make Johnny pull over at a convenience store.
- Maybe Appa is trying to describe the encounter later to Janet and Umma. Or maybe he and Moira are just mutually unintelligible to one another, and when Johnny tries to wade in, matters just devolve.
- Janet receives an inquiry about selling her photography in some store in this tiny town and can’t tell if the offer is real or not. Really, a town called Schitt’s Creek? That can’t be real, right? Art Prompts
- David and Patrick (though, David is definitely the one driving this venture) want anniversary photos taken by someone wearing fewer hats than Ray. Moira wants to update her headshots. Alexis needs a photographer for her latest PR campaign.
- Do they end up going with Gerald or Janet, though?
- Small business owner to small business owner, I'd love to see Appa reacting to Rose Apothecary or David to Kim's Convenience. Maybe something after such a visit where they've stealth incorporated some aspect of the other store in their own?
- I can just imagine Alexis and David (as full grown adults) with a pile of candy and snacks at the register of Kim's Convenience while Johnny tries and fails to convince them to put some of it back. Probably while Moira blithely adds her own selections to the haul.
Letterkenny + Schitt's Creek
- If Gail’s at Singles Week (and Ronnie’s female entrepreneurs group, I think?), who else is in attendance? Or, in the vein of cross-community dating, maybe one of the hicks/hockey players decides to join Bumpkin?
- How does this devolve into Katy and Alexis sizing each other up (or teaming up and agreeing to conquer the dating scene together... and then possibly just end up together)? What about David giving Reilly and Jonesy grooming tips (I mean, Pantene? They really should be using locally sourced, sulfate-free products)?
- The Letterkenny Irish come to play the Schitt’s Creek Paddlers (or something funnier because I’m sure you can come up with a better team name). Or David has to reprise his role as back-up right fielder for Cafe Tropical when a team from some place called Letterkenny joins the local rec league.
- Stormy or Gus have an appointment (just a routine checkup, please; I’m not here for pet angst!) with their new vet Dr. Mullens. His new receptionist catches Dary’s (or Katy’s) eye, and things, naturally, snowball from there. Art Prompts
- I'm tickled by the idea of Patrick taking David (does Stevie tag along because how could she pass up witnessing that?) out on a snowmobile or trying another winter sport, though whether the endeavor is helped or hindered by the input of the locals is up in the air.
- Alexis tearing it up at an Ag Hall jamboree with one of the Hicks or at one of Stewart's sets in the city because beggars can't exactly be choosers, and she just wants to dance.
- Something where Dary and/or Squirrelly Dan have suddenly become regulars at Cafe Tropical, mostly because they're crushing on Twyla could be pretty cute! Just them mooning over Twyla as she politely pretends not to notice. Or, true to form, is just more interested in their friend Wayne.
Parks and Recreation / Stranger Things
format: Crossover Art, Crossover Fic
The fourth and final installment in my location-based crossover requests, but one I haven't stopped thinking about since the idea first popped into my head. Yet again, aside from a geographical connection—both Hawkins and Pawnee are somewhere in vaguely central Indiana?—there's pretty much nothing to connect these. Other than my desire to see these characters, or their governments lbr, making as much trouble as possible for each other, of course. They do both have their own brand of intense oddity... Feel free to mess around with the timelines of either show as much as you want to! Maybe Leslie and company run the Hawkins Parks and Rec Department back in the 80s or Hopper’s in charge of the Pawnee Police Department in the present or now, time traveling is just another one of the Upside Down's effects? Honestly, the more weirdness, the better!

- Leslie would be a few years younger than the Party, but I feel like even back then, she was definitely paying attention to national news reports and could definitely see Hawkins pinging her interest. Especially as the years go on and it keeps making headlines.
- Maybe she sends Will a card when he turns up not dead and they end up pen pals or somehow gets her class to go on a field trip to the Department of Energy. Just something that has precocious little Leslie Knope crossing paths with the Hawkins crew
- What if Zorp had some basis in reality? And by reality, of course, I mean the Upside Down.
- Closer to the present, maybe Leslie wants to open the former Department of Energy site back to the public, thinking it’ll be a slam dunk to convert already federally owned land into a National Park. Only, she doesn’t expect to get nearly as much push back from the locals as she does.
- April’s Halloween Studies degree has to have some academic value, so maybe she had to conduct original research? There’s gotta be some local monster myth that won’t take too much effort to look into, even if her professor tells her that Fairway Frank is not an acceptable thesis topic. She grudgingly lands on some town called Hawkins and these weird, unsubstantiated urban legends from the 80s. (Bonus points for Andy as her research assistant and some helpful—or not—firsthand accounts from the locals.)
- Even after they’ve finally dealt with the Upside Down, the kids (whichever group you like; Nancy and Jonathan [and Steve and Robin], the Party, all of them combined, just a few, etc. etc.) don’t give up on the monster hunting and eventually land back in Indiana, but this time in a town called Pawnee.
- Up to you whether or not there’s really a threat there, but a good place for them to start might be Pawnee’s public libraries or Jamm Orthodontics…
- Ben's nerdery definitely means he's dabbled in D&D, right? Maybe he finds a new campaign to join when he moves to Pawnee, though it's a little hard fitting into a group that's been playing together since the 80s...
- Any of the Parks crew geared up to fight an Upside Down monster would be incredible! April and Andy as a team, Leslie as an overprepared and possibly under qualified demogorgon hunter, Ron as Hopper's deep woods neighbor who takes the sudden appearance of monsters very much in stride.
- I love the idea of any of the Hawkins crew showing up at a Pawnee public forum for pretty much any reason. Their weird brand of paranoia wouldn't set them too far apart from other citizens of Pawnee, and would love to see Leslie just smiling politely as they rail on.
