Ready for the mad dash to reveals? Not sure that I am, but I always have fun with this exchange, and I hope you do too! I really love all these fandoms/characters/ships, so anything you create for them and takes even one or two likes or prompts into consideration will be a delight! However direct, tangential, literal, or figurative your take on basically anything you find in this letter, I'm sure I will enjoy it! I'm hoping that all the prompts I've left could work for a fic or a comic, but feel free to ask for comic-specific prompts if that would be helpful!

Hi! Hello!

Yay Fic in a Box Time! As ever, I'm just here, excited for the challenge and to see what any one of these requests inspires!

I have requested most of these canons before, so feel free to use a prompt from an old letter (including prompts that may have been filled before: I will happily consume as many takes on the same premise for these characters/ships as get put into the world). Hopefully, though, everything you need to create a gift for me can be found below. I would love to see each and every one of these prompts/likes/what have you in either fic or comic form! If anything’s confusing, or you'd like even more thoughts/ideas/prompts, I’m more than happy to answer any questions sent through the mod.

For medium opt-ins, I truly mean any art medium and any in-universe documentation! I picked a few out of the tagset because those were the ones that I had immediate ideas for, but do not feel like you have to limit yourself to those choices. Go as wild as you like!

(If this letter seems suspiciously familiar, it probably is. This is basically a duplicate of my FFFX letter + some freeform ideas. I don't foresee getting to sub in any new prompts before assignments go out, but there's a slim chance?)

I always have such a fun time in this exchange and am so pumped to see what you have in store for me! If you're at all interested in more info than this letter (or any older ones) provides, you can find me on ao3: elegantstupidity or tumblr: megaphonemonday. Absolutely don't feel like you have to, though, because:

This letter is pretty long, especially for a low-minimum exchange. If you use even one or two things that you find here to make your gift, I will be thrilled. Feel free to pick and choose what you like and ignore the rest. While I'd love something for any of the prompts below (most of which hopefully are open-ended enough to go either trick or treat), I'm not married to them. Write a fic for an art prompt or draw something for a fic or take a prompt from one fandom to create for another or pick a like or two from the list and go with that idea you already had! Basically, I'm pretty easy to please and will appreciate anything you create!

Hello!

Every year I say it, and every year I mean it: I can't believe it's time for Yuletide again. Can't believe it, but I am super excited for it!

If you're someone who wants even more prompts/thoughts/whatever to look through, you can always check my past letters or poke around my tumblr (megaphonemonday). All of these fandoms aren't equally represented there, but that's not not at all an indicator of my enthusiasm; I will be delighted to receive fic for any of these fandoms!

I'd also be delighted with ship or gen (or somewhere in between), long or short, and G- through E-rated fic. Also, where I've requested more than one character, don't feel as though you need to focus equally on each. Feel free to include any other canon characters and/or relationships in your fic as well.

Essentially, I'm not particularly picky. I'd absolutely love any kind of take on any of the following prompts, but pretty much any fic about these characters would be wonderful and will be greatly appreciated!

Ahoy! (That was weird, but I'm rolling with it.)

If a lot of this letter looks familiar, it probably is. It's the same as last year's letter (and therefore this year's FFFX letter) because I'm still all in on any of these requests. Since I like those prompts so much, I figured why not increase the chances of getting a great fill for them? If one of them gets more than one fill, all the better! I'm always down for multiple takes on a single prompt. Anyway, read as much of this letter as you'd like. If you want to mix and match prompts between fandoms or ships, that's totally great!

For medium opt-ins, feel free to get as creative as you like! I'll be thrilled with something solely made up of the opt-ins or traditional fic or some mix of them. I'm pretty flexible with what I'd consider In-Universe, and I'd be thrilled with documents that are text- or image-based (or both). Also, I will be totally happy with any kind of art for any of these fandoms, but I have listed a few that seemed particularly appropriate or interesting. But, again, definitely don't limit yourself to what's listed! If you'd like specific prompts for any tag, feel free to ask and I'm more than happy to come up with some.

Hello Crossover-er!

This event is always such a highlight of the exchange calendar, and I'm so excited it's that time of year again! I don't know. There's something so fun and creative about crossovers and fusions. I just think they're neat! I love all of these canons and their characters (for real, any of them; however major or minor a player) so, so much, and getting to see any of them interact with a new world or a whole new set of characters sparks only joy. Basically anything for any one of these requests is going to thrill me!

A couple of things that apply to all my requests:

• I'm caught up on everything that's recently/currently airing, so no need to worry about spoilers.
• For the most part, I'm not very picky about ships or ratings. I generally like the canon romances, but I'm not at all opposed to cross-canon or non-canon couples, either. Absolutely any gen/platonic grouping is fair game to include.
• For requests with three fandoms, I'd be thrilled with a three-way mashup of canons/characters, though I don't currently have specific prompts to help you along on that front. If you'd like one, though, feel free to ask through the mod.
• If you recognize any of the other shows I’ve requested but we didn’t match on, and want to include a little easter egg/stealth crossover in your assignment, that would be an awesome bonus (but not remotely expected)!

Basically, I would love your take—however direct, tangential, literal, figurative, etc., etc.—on any of these prompts. They are, however, just meant to be jumping off points, so if they inspire something that takes off in a different direction, go with your muse! Feel free to use an art prompt for a fic (or vice versa) or mix and match between fandoms.
